Following an in-depth review conducted in consultation with the Board of Directors, management and staff, F3M has decided to implement a new process for its selection committees. This decision was also presented at the Annual General Meeting in September 2026.<\/p>\n

This model is inspired by practices already in place at several arts organizations. This new approach will provide greater predictability for both creative teams wishing to submit their projects and the F3M team, while bringing fresh and diverse perspectives to the selection process.<\/p>\n

We are confident that this new model will enable F3M to continue evolving its practices and supporting filmmakers, producers and their films with care and passion.<\/p>\n

How to Submit a Film or Project in Development to the Selection Committee ?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

 <\/p>\n

Film projects\u2014in development, production or post-production\u2014are evaluated by a selection committee that meets four times a year according to a fixed schedule.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The committee is composed of F3M\u2019s distribution team, one filmmaker and\/or producer member, and one external industry professional.<\/p>\n
