Carlo Guillermo Proto (<a href=\"\/wp_2016?p=3099\"><strong>Resurrecting Hassan<\/strong><\/a>) and Fran\u00e7ois Jacob (<a href=\"\/wp_2016?p=3232\"><strong>A Moon of Nickel and Ice<\/strong><\/a>) were honored at the Festival Awards ceremony on Friday night in Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Resurrecting Hassan <\/strong>by\u00a0Carlo Guillermo Proto<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Special Jury Prize<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Canadian Feature Documentary<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/f3m.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/9c9ffe05-312b-4561-b873-00300db57515-600x222.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resurrecting Hassan<\/strong> won the Grand Prize for Best Canadian Feature and the Student Award at the 2016 Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM). Since then, the film has been selected in numerous international festivals: IDFA, G\u00f6teborg IFF, Guadalajara IFF, Cartagena IFF and CPH Dox. The film continues on its way to Vancouver where it will screen at the DOXA festival in the presence of the filmmaker.
