The Quebec distributor, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, returns confident and energetic with an offer of daring and unique films.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">As of July, and over the coming months, several films will be opening in theatres: <a href=\"\/?p=8592\" data-cke-saved-href=\"\/?p=8592\"><strong><em>Jongu\u00e9, a Nomad\u2019s Journey<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (<strong>Carlos Ferrand<\/strong>), on the life and legacy of Montreal writer-photographer Serge-Emmanuel Jongu\u00e9; <a href=\"\/?p=8574\" data-cke-saved-href=\"\/?p=8574\"><strong><em>Sisterhood<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (<strong>Maxime Faure<\/strong>), about resolutely feminist nuns; <a href=\"\/?p=9143\" data-cke-saved-href=\"\/?p=9143\"><strong><em>Champions<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (<strong>Helgi Piccinin<\/strong>), which follows two athletes like no other in their ascent to the Special Olympics World Games; <strong><em>I Might Be Dead By Tomorrow <\/em><\/strong>(<strong>Steve Patry<\/strong>), which plunges us into the Montreal night, in the footsteps of street workers; and <a href=\"\/?p=9166\" data-cke-saved-href=\"\/?p=9166\"><strong><em>Passage<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (<strong>Sarah Baril Gaudet<\/strong>) which paints a poetic portrait of two teenagers on the eve of their inevitable departure from remote area of Temiscamingue.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Les Films du 3 Mars<\/strong> is also impatient to introduce moviegoers to numerous documentaries currently in postproduction, such as <strong><em>No Ordinary Man<\/em><\/strong> (<strong>Aisling Chin-Yee<\/strong> and <strong>Chase Joynt<\/strong>), featuring acclaimed trans culture makers as they reckon with the life and death of 1940s jazz musician Billy Tipton; as well as <strong><em>The End of Wonderland<\/em><\/strong> (<strong>Laurence Turcotte-Fraser<\/strong>), which retraces the journey of Tara, a transgender model and artist of the burlesque, fetish and erotic scene of the 90s.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Other films in development will be distributed by <strong>Les Films du 3 Mars<\/strong>, including the highly anticipated <strong><em>Lhasa<\/em><\/strong> (<strong>Sophie Leblond<\/strong>), which will paint the portrait of Lhasa de Sela through an impressive quantity of audio archives, images as well as published and unpublished works.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From the start of the quarantine, the organization remained active, aware of the importance of culture in these times of isolation. Close to 150 films were made available to the public free of charge on the <a href=\"https:\/\/f3m.ca\/en\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/f3m.ca\/en\/\"><strong>F3M.ca<\/strong><\/a> platform, while several others drew the attention of online editions of national and international festivals. Let\u2019s mention <a href=\"\/?p=8885\" data-cke-saved-href=\"\/?p=8885\"><strong><em>Prayer for a Lost Mitten<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (<strong>Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Lesage<\/strong>), winner of the Best Canadian Documentary Feature award at Hot Docs, and <a href=\"\/?p=8978\" data-cke-saved-href=\"\/?p=8978\"><strong><em>Under the Same Sun<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (<strong>Fran\u00e7ois Jacob<\/strong>).
