Marie-Ève Juste
Living in Montreal, Marie-Ève Juste worked in journalism, medicine and more recently as a shortfilm director. Her main learning of cinema’s history occured at the Cinémathèque québécoise, where she worked between 2003 and 2007 and also met Gabrielle Tougas-Fréchette, who became her films’ producer.
In 2011, she co-directed her first short film, Summer Day (2011), with Félix Dufour-Laperrière. She’s willing to make a poetic yet sensitive cinema reflecting every day life’s fragility. With Jeff (2012), is her second film.
