Sanctuaire is a portrait of a priest whose church is to be closed and put up for sale: the family of illegal immigrants he is sheltering will lose their home, while he is losing his very purpose. What happens to a mother and young son in need of a home, and to a priest who is losing his faith? A reflection on architecture, altruism and morality in a modern, secular society.

Andreas was drawn to cinema as a meeting-point, where people and technology, art and science, business and creative practices must all intersect. Upon receiving his undergraduate degree from the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University he was anointed the school’s most outstanding graduate. He is a founding member of GreenGround Productions, a Montréal based production company, as well as its sister company, CineGround, a leading camera rental and postproduction facility. Recent projects include: feature documentaries Primas, Taming the Horse and In the Waves which winning awards at the Festival des 3 continents, Mar del Plata, RIDM Montreal, VIFF and Atlantic Film Festival in 2017, Mon Ami Dino, which closed the 2016 edition of the Fantasia Film Festival, and We are Still Together, which premiered at Karlovy Vary in 2016, as well as the forthcoming features A Touch of Spring and Primas.
