Caroline Monnet
Caroline Monnet is a multidisciplinary artist from Outaouais, Québec. She studied Sociology and Communication at the University of Ottawa and the University of Granada (Spain). Her work has been shown internationally, including TIFF, VIFF, Festival du Nouveau Cinéma (Montréal), VideoFormes, Urban Shaman Contemporary Art Gallery (Winnipeg), World Event Young Artist (Nottingham, UK); Künstlerhaus Bethanien (Berlin, GER) and ARSENAL Montréal). Monnet is currently working on a number of projects including writing and directing a commissioned short drama for ImagineNATIVE’s Embargo Collective II. Daniel Watchorn
Daniel Watchorn was born in Aylmer, Quebec, in 1978. He has a B.A. in Film Studies from Concordia University. Up until 2011, he played guitar in the Canadian rock band Priestess. He now composes music for film, television and the web with collaborator Vincenzo Nudo under the name Frères Lumières. He first worked with Caroline Monnet co-writing the short experimental film Gephyrophobia, which appeared at the Cannes film festival, in 2012. The Black Case (2014), also co-written and co-directed with Caroline Monnet, is Daniel’s first foray into directing. Filmography The Black Case (2014 / 13 min)
