As history attests, too often the most exquisite art is born from a life of pain and strife. The music Amy brings forth clearly speaks from her life lived, and we root for her to succeed both emotionally and musically. Point of View Magazine

Synopsis

I’m gone is the story of a journey set to a dark country melody. Twenty hours on the road from Montréal to an island lost in foggy Nova Scotia, three drug addicts in remission, two filmmakers, ten million mosquitoes, twelve days to record an album and prove that it’s possible to stay alive and reinvent yourself. Meet Amy. Woman, mother, drug addict, lover, mentor, liar, fighter. Through her music and her words, follow this iconic Mile End woman who only knows how to live intensely under the ever present shadow of relapse.
