Katerine Giguère has worked in the film industry for more than fifteen years. She began her career as an assistant camerawoman on feature-length dramatic films then went on to become a partner in the documentary production company, Rapide-Blanc where she produced, directed and shot her first documentary, Seeds of Hope (L'île aux fleurs) (2005). For the past ten years Katerine has been working primarily as a director of photography, collaborating with several noted directors with film shoots taking place in Quebec, Africa, Asia, Europe and Central America. Interested by photography and dramatic films as much as by documentary work, Katerine draws her inspiration from the world of images.
