Synopsis
Pierre, an eight years old young boy, spends most of his summer vacation behind the curtain of the dining room’s window. He dreams of playing basketball with the other kids what his overprotective mother constantly denies him. One day Pierre decides to break the ban: it causes an anxiety attack to his mother, but this move gives him a moment of freedom that fills him with hope.

Frédéric Desager
Frédéric Desager is an actor, director and scriptwriter from Belgium who has been working in Quebec since 1992. In 2003, he took a part in the writing of the script of Ma voisine danse le ska by director Nathalie Saint-Pierre, in which he also plays a small part. This feature film was rewarded at the Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois with the Best Script for a Feature Film award. He also directed two short films, Sur la ligne in 2005 and Le Rideau (The Curtain) in 2013.
